Journalist Erl Murati commented on the opposition protest, who said that the participation was smaller than the two previous protests that the opposition has held.
Murati said that if there is popular discontent, then citizens should pour into the square, despite the high temperatures.
He says that there is the same frustration in the ranks of the opposition. Murati goes on to say that Berisha's and Meta's speeches are not a useful strategy as they confuse the opposition's target.
"There are some circumstances or factors that influence that citizens do not pour into the square", said Murati, connecting this with the developments that the opposition has had in recent years.
The journalist stated that Rama is at the end of his 3rd term and all preliminary polls show that he will get a fourth term, listing it as one of the reasons that frustrates the opposition and its supporters.
"In this country, we have a shrinking number of critical voices that can speak about the abuses of the law, less and less courageous journalists are found to denounce the affairs. It is not for nothing that society has begun to conform.
The speeches of the orators, Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta, I think that diversification of targets is not a useful strategy. Berisha and Meta do not want to be SPAK prosecutors or mayors, so their target should be the Prime Minister.
Their speeches make us understand that we have 2 DPs, I don't mean two logos here, but two different positions in relation to justice. We have Berisha and Meta who have strong positions against the new justice, SPAK and Duman, and a more moderate position, as is the one displayed by Gazment Bardhi", Murati told "News 24".
