Journalist Lavdrim Lita regarding the $6 million contract that the Democratic Party has signed with the American company Continental Strategy, which also includes the signature of DP MP Flamur Noka as Secretary General.
According to Lita, Noka has contacted dozens of lawyers about the contract, implying that the DP MP has tried to make sure he is not doing anything illegal and to avoid some problems.
"In Tirana, it was signed by Flamur Noka, who consulted dozens of lawyers and the previous practice of contracts of Lulzim Basha, Ilir Meta and others where there were problems and that Noka should not violate those problems.
He was convinced to sign not only by Berisha but also by lawyers that his signature as Secretary General and as the beneficiary of that service, he must sign.
"As for New Jersey, Nurdin Seci represents a group of businessmen. He has come out against this form of the 'Make Albania Great Again' Foundation," said Lita.
The journalist also explained how much money was raised in Michigan alone for this contract. He added that Albanians in the US were asked to contribute as a way to help the DP.
"To my knowledge, in Michigan, in the last 48 hours, about $50,000 has been raised for this contract because Albanians there are getting involved and are depositing money into their accounts to contribute."
Part of the money is coming from them, they are doing this for the Democratic Party. They have been asked in the form of contributions by Berisha's emissaries who have fled to the US several times, to contribute to this foundation to help the DP in lobbying the US administration. This means that the DP is for the first time aware and making it public that it has a problem with the US administration through this contract.
"It is important that if there are irregularities in the elections on May 11, the DP knows where to take the information after the elections to report alleged violations or thefts that may occur, so that the US will think twice about welcoming the parliamentary elections of May 11," Lavdrim Lita told Euronews Albania.
