The citizen protest that has been taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office for days was joined this evening by the well-known actor Florian Binaj.
Amid the applause of the protesters, Binaj delivered a short but strong speech against the government, while calling for participation in the protest announced in Rrjoll.
" Tomorrow, let's all go at 10 and join the protesters in Rrjoll. What you have done to Albanians, may karma do it 10-fold ," Binaj declared from the podium.
The actor's presence was enthusiastically received by the participants, as he became one of the public figures who has chosen to openly support the civic movement that has now entered its third week.
After him, a citizen also took the floor, who connected the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, held just a few meters away from the protest, with the legacy of the former Labor Party.
" These are beautiful and exciting days, they have historical significance for all of us. What has not gone well with this story from the beginning is not the investor, but the way Albanians were treated and the steps taken by the government. The former Labor Party, which today celebrates its 35th anniversary, has continued to produce the same spirit of power and the same behavior towards citizens since it changed its name ," she said.
The citizen accused the socialists of a lack of reflection and of using pressure on people who express different opinions.
" The Socialists trust the thief. They know neither SPAK nor the law, they have no fear. The only tool they use is psychological pressure on every citizen who expresses even the slightest concern. This is what we have been seeing for years and this is the reason why so many people have taken to the streets ," the protester declared.
This evening marked another massive rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where citizens from different areas of the country reiterated their demands for political change and the removal of the old political class from running the country.
Meanwhile, organizers have warned that protests will continue in the coming days, insisting that the movement has now transcended the boundaries of a single cause and has transformed into a broader revolt against the way of governance and the political establishment in Albania.
