Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has commented on Prime Minister Rama's visit with Albanians in London.
Spahiu described Rama's tour and the messages given as "premature campaign", which according to him was aimed at securing as many votes as possible for the SP. He declared that the participation of immigrants in the voting will be low, while adding that Rama is preparing now to increase the support of the diaspora.
"Rama today seemed to have given it a lot of importance and seemed to be focused on getting the vote of the Diaspora. I am not sure what the percentage of those who will vote will be, but it seems that Rama is doing a direct political campaign and an early election campaign. Considering that the electoral elections will be in 7 months, it seems a little strange that so early attention is paid to it, but apparently they claim according to their calculations to significantly increase the national percentage, taking from the diaspora, given that there even more. However, due to the difficulties of the infrastructure and logistics for the vote of immigrants, I predict that Albanian immigrants everywhere in the world will participate in a very low percentage in the parliamentary votes", said Spahiu.
Regarding the possible numbers in the upcoming elections, in 2025, he said that there will not be more than 6 or 7 percent of Albanian voters from all over the world.
"I predict that it will not exceed the figure of 6 or 7 percent. I think that there will not be more than 50 thousand to 70 thousand Albanian voters from all over the world. And here I am not talking about the SP, but about voters who will participate in the polls, regardless of which party they will vote for," he said for "Report TV".
