While commenting on the race for police director, the criminology expert, Ervin Karamuço, stated that the heads of the blue uniforms were discovered in interceptions as collaborators of criminal organizations.
Karamuço pointed out that the Minister of the Interior had to provide the profile of the new head of the State Police, while emphasizing that only the element of age has been made known to the public.

The criminology expert further explained that integrity is the main element that must be taken into account as according to him many of the district leaders, chiefs of police stations and police agents have been caught in wiretaps collaborating with crime.
