Journalist Lavdrim Lita has stated that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is ready for terrorist acts against the institutions that he thinks are hindering him in his politics.
Lita made the comments in "Euronews Albania", where he said that today Berisha warned of protests against the institutions, which according to him means that the "Reestablishment" will go underground. He also added that Berisha's threats should be taken seriously, as according to him, the former prime minister gave evidence last year when he attacked the headquarters of the DP, but also in previous years.
"He said protests against the institutions. Even though he was not honest that it was the first protest against the courts, since Veliaj has done it for the palaces on the lake and Berisha is the second. Attacks against institutions turn it not only into an illegal group, but an illegal group.
This is equivalent to a group entering a violent and highly extremist phase. The fact that when he says that there will be protest against the institutions means that there will be violent protests. He also testified last year when he attacked the PD headquarters, attacking it with violent means. The protest can be extended against any institution that may have become an obstacle to his dream in big politics.
Since the son is being investigated in SPAK for issues of arms trafficking, the protests he is holding mean that he is approaching a violent phase. These are warnings that people should take seriously. You know that Berisha has not thrown a single stone in his life, but he has organized groups of militants to shoot with weapons. He has shown that he is also ready for terrorist acts", said Lita.
