A bar-restaurant in the Golem area has been penalized by the Tax Administration after an inspection conducted by the Field Task Force, which found a series of serious violations of tax legislation.
As part of the implementation of the Tourism Plan and the initiative to formalize the sector, through risk analysis, around 590 thousand euros of hidden income from the entity's activity was identified in the period 2020–2025. During the inspection, other violations were also discovered, such as trading goods without invoices, failure to issue invoices to customers, lack of invoices, as well as undeclared employees.
Following the inspection, the Tax Administration seized two computer devices used by the subject, which contained data proving income concealment and other illegal practices.
According to the official announcement, these actions constitute direct violations of the law and the penalization of the entity is part of the measures taken to combat informality in the tourism sector, one of the main priorities of the national strategy for the formalization of the economy.
The Tax Administration has emphasized that it will not tolerate any entity operating outside the legal framework and has warned that controls and interventions will continue with increased focus, especially in tourist areas and during busy seasonal periods. /Skyweb.al
