Former prison policeman, Gentjan Bejtja, was killed in a well-organized assassination on March 15, 2024, in the courtyard of his apartment in the village of Larushka, Fushë Krujë.
Bejtja was shot with automatic fire, giving him no chance to escape or receive first aid.
The investigation team also questioned Armida Bejtjan, the victim's wife, who witnessed the incident along with the children.
She even stated that one of the perpetrators held her and the children hostage and the other two committed the murder of her husband, Gentian Bejtja.
Armida Bejtja, the victim's wife: "I have been married to Gentian Bejta for several years and we have three children. On March 15, 2024, at around 4:00 PM, my husband and I left my father-in-law's apartment and went to our apartment, which is just a few meters away. We also had our two children with us.
While my husband was watering some vegetables he had grown in a greenhouse near the apartment, I noticed three armed men entering.
"One of them held me and the children hostage, while the other two people shot my husband with automatic weapons, causing his instant death."
Regarding the perpetrators of the incident, she gives a general description but cannot identify any of them. Also, Armida Bejtja has not raised any suspicions or clarified any conflict with her husband. / Abcnews .al
