The Supreme Court decided today to postpone the decision on the "January 21" case, which will determine whether the investigations will be carried out by the Special Prosecutor's Office or by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.
Analyst Frrok Çupi says that the chances are that the case will go to SPAK.
According to him, this means faith in justice, and a brave operation for the perpetrators of the murder, but one that will succeed.
"We are dealing with another thing, which is at least being judged. The trend of the facts is that the case will go to SPAK. This means faith in justice, and a brave operation for the perpetrators of the murder, and this will be considered the most difficult, but the most successful operation in justice," said Çupi in an interview with ABC News.
The European Court of Human Rights has made the Albanian state responsible for the murder, but also for not investigating it and punishing the perpetrators.
The file for the murder of Aleks Nika has been investigated for 2 years by the prosecutor's office in Tirana.
Aleks Nika was killed in the protest of January 21, 2011 on the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, along with 3 other protesters.
