Berisha asks for freedom, the Court again postpones the hearing for the former prime minister

The hearing against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who is seeking the removal of the "house arrest" security measure, has been postponed.

It is known that the session was postponed because the judge Irena Gjoka was part of another panel. 

The hearing for the revocation of the 'house arrest' security measure was scheduled to be held today at 3:00 p.m.

We remind you that the Special Court against Corruption has imposed on Berisha the security measure "house arrest" since December 30, 2023, in connection with the affair of the Partizani complex.

The former prime minister has been accused of corruption, together with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi. 

Earlier, Sali Berisha rejected the measures given by SPAK, that of the obligation to appear and the ban on going abroad, considering the measures as unconstitutional.
