My family members and I used to dismantle shells. We unloaded them from the trucks, opened the crates and then with various tools such as pickaxes and chisels we removed the diabolos and with a hammer we extracted the gunpowder. After the division was made, the shells were taken away with the sacks, while the gunpowder was put into bags and sent to the warehouse ," said the witness.

Asked what was done with the gunpowder and the moment of the explosion, Drita Cani says that according to what her daughter told her, the fire started at the door of the warehouse where the gunpowder was sent.

"It was a dangerous job, but we believed in the state that the state brought us there, there were no rules at work, we were not asked for documents when we started work. "I have never seen Fatmir Mediun, nor soldiers," said Cani.
