New details have come to light from the robbery of the apartment of judge Shpëtime Pitaku in Durrës.
It is known that the incident happened about a week ago and the denunciation was made by her husband. He stated that there was no one in the apartment at the time the thieves entered, as they were at work.
The husband of the judge in the Court of Durrës stated that they took a small amount of money and jewelry, the value of which is not yet known.
It is reported that the robbers took an amount of 2000 euros. Meanwhile, there are no security cameras in the neighborhood where the judge lives, as well as in her apartment.
But who is the judge who was robbed?
The judge of Durrës, Shpëtime Pitaku, was criminally charged in 2015 by ILDKPKI for money laundering and concealment of an asset worth 1 million US dollars.
The Ministry of Justice requested her punishment, but at the end of the investigation, no violation was found. From the self-declarations she made to the relevant institutions, she was listed as one of the richest judges in the country.
In her statement of assets, only for the year 2015 that she submitted to the ILDKP, the judge says that she has 5 premises; from the rents of which he reports that he received 9,600 euros, 360,000 alleks, 1,200 euros, 1,200 euros and 1,800 euros. Also, he declared a land area of 650 m2 and construction area of 442 m2, in co-ownership.
However, Pitaku claims that he also received a loan in the amount of 60 thousand euros, for the purchase of a house with an area of 135 m2; and also for the purchase of an Audi A3 car.
