Lawyer Ylli Manjani spoke this Thursday regarding the announcement that SPAK made about an illegal attempt to interfere with the email addresses of prosecutors of this structure.
Manjani said that there is no hacking situation regarding this issue. According to him, what is worrying in this situation is the publication of investigations in the media.
" The use of electronic means is not safe. I do not believe that there is hacking in SPAK, there is data extraction as has always been done all these years. SPAK has not yet given an explanation why Sky Ecc's data is in the media, why Ilir Beqja's wiretaps are in the media.
As for the alleged hacking of an internal computer system, at the time they were released, the lawyers had no knowledge of it. It's not hacking, they released it themselves.
The concern is the investigative reporting in the media and SPAK is responsible for this. Secondly, yesterday there was a hearing at the Constitutional Court on this issue, that is, the media in relation to secrecy. There, SPAK prosecutors stated that journalists who have secret documents in their hands should ask the prosecutors themselves whether they are secret or not in order to grant them permission to publish them or not. This is vile.
"The debate yesterday in Court, where SPAK's official position was preliminary censorship, is scandalous. Here, it's not computers that give us data, it's people ," Manjani told Euronews Albania.
