Journalist Ola Xama debated with Klodiana Lala on the show Të Paekspozuarit, regarding SPAK and maintaining investigative secrecy, starting from the recent case, where SPAK was hacked, but there has been very little transparency about the event, while journalists are prohibited from publishing materials, but this does not happen in cases where SPAK is interested in the materials being released.
Ola Xama : How many SPAK investigative materials have been released? Aran Hoxha's file was released, he was found guilty without trial and SPAK had no problem with investigative secrecy. This matter where SPAK is implicated, nothing comes out. SPAK does not have a monopoly on the truth.
Klodiana Lala : I said I have doubts that the two people were appointed by an SP official, but I have no proof to directly implicate him. As for the materials, I was not included in the group of journalists who had them, I do not know the content.
Ola Xama : Have journalists been called and told not to publish? How does SPAK differ here from Edi Rama? Who is SPAK? I am raising this issue. This too is interference in the work and editorial freedom of the media.
Klodiana Lala: No one can interfere in this. It's a matter of integrity.
Ola Xama : In this case, it is a dictatorship over a repressive institution over the media.
Klodiana Lala : Based on the information I have so far, I conclude that those two are not the leaders. If I had the materials, I would probably have acted differently.
Ola Xama : When SPAK is interested in something, everything comes out and there is no investigative secrecy. When it's something they're not interested in, it doesn't come out.
