At least 34 searches of homes and businesses have been conducted by BKH agents as part of the investigations that SPAK has launched against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
It is learned that most of the checks were carried out on the staff of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
Journalist Anila Hoxha reports that based on the decision of Judge Erjon Çela, 20 more checks will be carried out in the coming days, against businessmen and employees of institutions.
Checks were carried out on two construction companies and many employees of the Roads Authority and the Electric Power Corporation.
Meanwhile, it is learned that the search operation was carried out only by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, not allowing any State Police employee. It is not yet known why this decision was made by the BKH agents to not include the police led by Ilir Proda in the searches, against whom a series of suspicions have been raised.
According to information reported by journalist Anila Hoxha, in one case, BKH agents left a police officer at the door without allowing him to participate in the search. Meanwhile, among the names of the people whose homes were searched are also family members of company executives.
It is learned that the apartment of Viola Haxhiademi, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and currently director of KESH, the apartment of Gentian Gjyli, former director of ARRSH, defendant and under house arrest, the apartment of Erald Elezi, former director of KESH, defendant and under house arrest, as well as the apartments of Sajmir Kuçi, Marsel Hoxha and Jonida Çeço, were searched.
