Numerous firefighting forces, police, FNSH, and civil emergencies have been on the ground for more than 60 hours as the fire rekindles every time the wind picks up in the Vlora region.
Europe has been gripped by fires that have been causing major damage in the last week, while the situation in Albania remains critical.
The European Union has come to Albania's aid, sending a plane from Italy to extinguish the flames in the south, in the Borsh, Piqeras and Lukovë areas.
Himara continues to burn from the flames, which a day earlier also endangered the residents of two villages, Kalasa and Sasaj, who were evacuated.
Currently, there are reports of active outbreaks in the village of Sasaj, three outbreaks in Lukovë and one outbreak in Shën Vasil.
Firefighters worked throughout the night in these areas to extinguish the flames, which were being fanned by the wind and risked spreading towards residential areas.
The 50 residents of the village of Sasaj who were evacuated yesterday evening have remained in the center of the village after the flames approached their homes. Meanwhile, the fire coming from the area connecting the villages of Delvina and Himara has made the villages of Lukova and Shën Vasil dangerous.

Meanwhile, in the early hours of this morning, around 05:00, the Gjirokastra fire service, in cooperation with the support forces of the Gjirokastra Municipality, intervened on the Skërfica mountain to isolate the spread of a powerful fire that is advancing from the territory of Delvina towards Gjirokastra.
