Journalist Poli Hoxha said that Prime Minister Edi Rama's threat to SPAK a few days after the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj shows the highest level of pressure and concern on the part of the latter.
According to him, all this pressure is related to the incinerator file, which is nearing its end and SPAK is looking for the main part of the incinerators, which is the head, i.e. the Council of Ministers.
On the Now show on Euronews Albania, Hoxha said that the Prime Minister is very concerned.
"Let's not forget another statement that is the greatest pressure from Rama when he said; don't they dare come and take my phone, we who are journalists know that this is a very big concern and this pressure is real.
To my knowledge, we are nearing the end of the most important part of the incinerators, which is the ideation, the Council of Ministers, the general secretary and it is nearing the end and it is also a fact that the institution of the Council of Ministers does not respond to SPAK, it has gone and requested the entire procedure of the meetings. Did Ahmetaj say two of us who were against it.
There have been cases where SPAK agents have been expelled, and here there has been a clash and pressure. When you look at an iceberg, it's not the top, when pressure comes from the media, from politicians, from the prime minister himself, this shows that the bottom definitely has a brake, don't come to my cell phone, even though they have their cell phone, meaning communications with third parties, they don't need to have the device", said Hoxha.
