Former deputy of the Democratic Party, at the same time, member of the National Council of the DP, Aleksandër Biberaj commented on the result of the elections in Kukës, which according to him is scary.
For Biberaj, the fact that the majority won with double the number of votes in the municipality of Kukes, shows that in fact the right-wing electorate boycotted the elections.
He blames the opposition for this situation, which according to him, if it continues to remain divided, will give Prime Minister Rama up to 100 mandates in the 2025 elections.
" What happened in Kukës is terrible. A piecemeal opposition, they campaign and lose with twice as many votes. It is known that Edi Ram's government is incriminated, but this result does not justify the position. They should resign, if Kukësi comes out, double the votes for the left is unimaginable. The right-wing electorate boycotted the elections.
As long as Berisha is in charge of the DP, Basha-Bardhi in the faction, we will go from defeat to defeat with complete success. We do not inspire as an opposition, we do some fake failed primaries and see the result.
