Security expert Shemsi Prençi has shown where the state failed with the assassination attempt in Rinas. According to him, this area is the most unsafe in the country, even though it should have been the opposite. Invited to "Të Pashoq", he said that all institutions failed there, especially the police.
" The Rinas area is truly the most unsafe place and criminal groups have already identified it as a place where they can settle scores. Because in the meantime, people who fly from Tirana to different countries around the world think they are safe there, while the criminal world has considered it the most unsafe place and the most suitable place to settle scores."
And that's how I read the story because the fact that no police responded for 15 minutes, while it was only 5 meters away from the Rinas police station, shows that there is no plan of measures for a rapid response at the only international airport that Albania has. And when there is no plan for a rapid response by the police, the fire service or anything else, because in addition to that, let's not forget, in addition to the criminal incident, we saw that the injured person was also pulled out by citizens with crowbars, while the fire engines, which are specially trained at the Rinas airport, should have gone, but they did not go to the scene. So, the police went very late, the firefighters did not go at all, there was no hospital emergency service, which means that the level of readiness for the police and civil emergency services was at zero levels , "he said.
