Criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, has spoken about the preliminary steps expected to accompany the 2025 elections.
He stated on the show 'Top Story' that in addition to prosecutors, there will also be BKH investigative agents and police officers distributed in the cities of Albania who will cooperate to uncover electoral crime.
"There are some vans that as soon as they see them, they say, 'Come, come.' The techniques that SPAK uses are much more sophisticated, you don't need to have vans to conduct interceptions."
During the campaign they will be turned on at maximum. Even in Lezha there is one prosecutor. Vlora has three. There are agents and investigators of the BKH, but they cooperate with the police.
They will be treated by the OSCE to cooperate. It is specific training, with a short timeframe. It has to do with the distinction of what constitutes an electoral crime.
"We are not used to having such an active group, I think many will fall into the trap because we are not used to it. Many will be caught in the trap," said Karamuço.
