Former deputy Grida Duma spoke about her confrontation with Prime Minister Edi Rama in "Top Story".
Invited to "Wake Up", she says that it was a different confrontation than what they could have had in the parliament and that it was quite professional.
According to Grida, Prime Minister Rama was careful in the things he said truthfully in the interview and was not aggressive, as may have happened in some other television studios.
Excerpts from the interview;
Neada Muça: You have taken very important figures for the history and fate of the Albanian people such as Edi Ramen and the former historical leader of the DP Sali Berisha, how difficult was it for you to bring them so simply to the public?
Grida Duma: Well, these are the figures that I have the simplest actually. The whole point is that those who follow Rama, his vigilant and passionate followers and those who follow Berisha, his vigilant and passionate followers should not feel any kind of partiality towards me.
I have said and continue to say ideologically, I am right-wing. I don't want to play politics here, but I think that this government is not only left-wing, it is very right-wing because in principle it has concessioned everything, so it should be a right-wing government that provides services with concessions, in fact it has made a left-wing government.
From the point of view of politics it is not difficult, but from the point of view of attitudes with individuals in a certain way it is difficult. The arrival of Rama with me in "Top Story", opposite of course, should not be the same picture as me in the parliament, and Rama as prime minister, the representative of the majority, so it would be completely different. The register should have shown that we are already doing this professionally, so we are doing a political show, professionally.
We may not understand or disagree, there is no need to shout, but we must maintain respect for what each may say differently at a given moment. Rama has been careful to say things in absolute truth in the interview, but without the aggressiveness that he has often done in television studios.
He has been careful to preserve these balances, everyone understanding that these are different registers.
