"Is there anything new? We must act now", sms on Kryemadhi's cell
Former minister Edmond Haxhinasto, Kryemadhi, Meta

The former minister was "caught" by SPAK from the messages between Monika Kryemadhi and the American-Albanian businessman, Adrian Shatku, a relative of the MP.

Former minister Edmond Haxhinasto was asked yesterday by SPAK about the Meta-Kryemadhi file, as the exponent of the Freedom Party, who in the past has held several positions as head of ministries.

"I was asked as a witness", Haxhinasto said after leaving SPAK.

Previously, Haxhinasto was interrogated regarding the messages found on Monika Kryemadhi's mobile phone about optical fibers, as this field was under the competence of the ministry headed by Haxhinasto.

What are the sms on Kryemadhi's phone that "sink" even Haxhinaston in corrupt affairs?

According to the SPAK file, when she came to power, as part of the governing coalition with the Socialists, Monika Kryemadhi collaborated with the American-Albanian businessman Adrian Shatku, the 'magic man' in Ilir Meta's Party, to enter the fiber optic business. .

Shatku seems to have been unsparing for Monika, giving her "American Epxress" cards, paying for her trips to Washington, or the expenses for the clinics, which Kryemadhi says she went to for health reasons.

But like everything in life, every service has a price and in return Monika demanded that the American-Albanian businessman receive two concession contracts in telecommunications, for the laying of optical cables and interconnection for international telephone calls.

In order to secure these two contracts, SPAK, referring to communications and written documents, suspects that Monika Kryemadhi set in motion important ministers and directors who were led by LSI representatives, so that her friend could receive two concessions.

Initially, the businessman Shatku asks through the Minister of Transport and Industry, Edmond Haxhinasto, to enter the optical fiber market. But this market was under monopoly conditions, thanks to an agreement signed in 2006 by the Berisha government.

It turns out that the attempt of Monika Kryemadhi and Ilir Meta to pass a VKM that undoes the monopoly of optical fibers has been rejected to be signed by Edi Rama. The disapproval of Minister Milena Harito was used as a shield or obstacle.

"What Milena says is bizarre, they... in addition to breaking the monopoly, should be prosecuted for financial damages -" wrote the businessman to Kryemadhi.

Encountering the "Harito obstacle", Monika Kryemadhi urged the minister Edmond Haxhinasto to pass a regulation that overthrew the company's monopoly.

Prosecutors' documents show that Kryemadhi is involved significantly and more intensively in order to bring down the fiber optic laying monopoly as quickly as possible, while her cousin seems to be losing patience.

“Anything new with the cable? Investors are losing faith. We must act now." - it is said in an e-mail dated September 17, 2014 that Monina Kryemadhi received from her American cousin, Ardian Shatku.

A day later, Kryemadhi informs the businessman that everything would be closed within the week.

"I believe this week. I make an official request to Mondi (note Edmond Haxhinastos), to give you the right to place the fibers on the road axes. Let's print it on paper, not electronically," ordered Kryemadhi.

After these e-mails, the entire Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy is set in motion./ Pamphlet
