Criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, was invited to the show "NOW with Erla Mëhillin", where he spoke about the recent crackdown by Italian authorities and SPAK against an Albanian organization operating in Italy in drug trafficking.
Commenting on powerful criminal groups, Karamuço said that the most dangerous Albanian groups are not located in Albania at all, but are in the Middle East.
" The most dangerous Albanian groups are not in Albania at all. They are mixed groups, transnational mixtures, in the context of globalization. Their home is in the Middle East, their goods are in Ecuador, their hosts are in Europe, as far as the goods and then the distribution are concerned. Then they come and invest in a hotel or a restaurant. But how can you catch these, Erla, that is, the state cannot catch these ," explained Karamuço.
