The Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) has decided to open the ballot boxes in the municipalities of Gramsh and Peqin, following the request of the Democratic Party.
The DP has raised suspicions of irregularities in the electoral process, based on video footage from the vote counting. The DP representative at the KAS, Marash Çefa, stated that actions that could constitute manipulation or violations of electoral procedures were observed in the video.
The decision for the recount was supported by the two DP members on the KAS, who requested further verification of the result in these areas.
