The balance is daunting; 2 killed and 13 injured in the span of only 10 months, shows that the conflict over property continues to remain the "gangrene" of our society.
The revelation of the murder of the businessman, Eduart Reçi by the suspects Duka brothers, highlighted again one of the biggest wounds of the Albanian society, that of the conflict over the properties. Corruption, delay in court proceedings and wrong policies on property distribution over the years have created a veritable chaos in our society.
According to statistics from 1998 until today, over 630 Albanian citizens have fallen prey to property attacks, of which 186 have lost their lives. The reflection of this scary statistic is further aggravated by the scary reality that appears in the courts, where more than 12,000 property lawsuits are still awaiting resolution.
The numerous problems and the lack of a solution on the part of the institutions often sends citizens to undertake acts of violence, even going to extremes.
In just 10 months of the current year, at least 10 cases of conflicts over property have been recorded, resulting in injuries and deaths.

The balance is daunting; 2 killed and 13 injured in the span of only 10 months shows that the conflict over property continues to be the "gangrene" of our society. From the above-mentioned cases, it is clear that "love" for property in our society prevails over family and love for life.
With so many unresolved cases in the courts and numerous cases of property abuse and corruption that are being discovered daily by SPAK, it seems that we are very far from solving this problem that has been going on for decades in Albania!/ Pamphlet
