The Constitutional Court has withdrawn to make a decision regarding the suspension or not of the government's number two, Belinda Balluku.
Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha, speaking to Top Story, said that it is impossible to predict when the decision will be made, adding that the deadline is within 30 days of today's hearing.
According to her, from what was seen and discussed today in the Constitutional Court, it seems that SPAK, Hoxha says, will not withdraw from the request for the suspension of Ms. Balluku from duty.
" SPAK is unlikely to take steps back. It is not foreseen when the Constitutional Court will express itself, what I understood from the way the judges or the rapporteur asked the questions to the representatives of the parties, were in relation to the weight of the mandate of the deputy and the role of the minister and what are the powers of the prime minister. SPAK prosecutor Dorina Bejko said that there were effects of reinstatement and raised questions about the risk of evidence being impacted, but they remained discreet, maintaining investigative secrecy ," said Anila Hoxha.
