Who will be Janullatos' successor? The new Archbishop will be elected on March 16

The Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania announces that the election of the new Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, who will succeed the late Archbishop Anastasios, will be held on the Second Sunday of Lent on March 16, 2025, at the Synodal Center, after the Divine Liturgy.

The election process will follow the provisions of the Statute of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania.
