The quarrel in the royal family between Prince Leka by Elia Zaharia has made a big fuss, even after the publication of the viral video, where Elia hits the Prince, asking him to account for why he shot her father.
Faik Basha, the former director of Peqin prison, invited to "Breaking", gave some new details about this event, while showing where the video came from.
According to him, the video was distributed by the justice bodies, the police or the Prosecutor's Office, to whom Prince Leka himself gave it as evidence.
"Regarding the video, accusations have been made by the Prince, where it is said that the video was released by the police or the Prosecutor's Office, but it is very serious on their part. They must be in an investigation process. It is unacceptable to release such a video, it does not help society. The allegations are from the person who provided the video. The prince has this kind of logic that he can't make false accusations because the camera he recorded has all the actions saved. They say he did not distribute it, but I gave it to the police. On the other hand, the police say I don't have it, but the prosecution does," said the former director.
Basha also emphasized that this serious event should be kept more private, as it is a wrong image, which is conveyed by a royal family.
"The level of people involved in the conflict is a wrong image, for what it conveys in the opinion. It could have been kept more discreet," said the security expert.
"We have had cases where the information came out from the Special Prosecutor's Office, which had serious consequences. Security structures suffer for professional people.”
