A stab wound occurred this morning in Gjirokastër, where a 13-year-old girl hit her 15-year-old friend, causing wounds to his stomach.
Preliminary suspicions are that the injury occurred due to jealousy between two minors.
Meanwhile, a witness who saw the case told the media that the girl was crying while the boy was bleeding.
She said that it was the citizens who gave first aid to the injured and then called the ambulance and the police.
"I didn't even see him at all, nor who was the boy, I saw a girl, why are you crying, this boy was cut with a knife, we got disoriented, when I saw the boy bleeding, where are you, I said, I'm from Tepelena, he was holding his stomach with his hand, he was bleeding, we gave him first aid, we called the police, the ambulance took him, these things should not happen again, they are children, but the parent should be careful", said the woman.
"Today, on 08.03.2024, around 08:05 in the "18 September" neighborhood, during a momentary conflict, a 15-year-old boy hit his peer, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors, with a cutting tool.
The 15-year-old was escorted to the Police premises for further action. The investigative group continues its actions at the scene for the complete clarification of the circumstances of the event," the police announced.
