During the investigation, 13 firearms, hundreds of cartridges, rifle magazines and silencers were found. The prosecution is separately investigating suspicions of illegal sale of part of the arsenal.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has completed the investigations and sent for trial 38-year-old Milasim Ramaj, accused of the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided for by Article 278, paragraph 6, of the Criminal Code.

According to the Prosecution, the investigations conducted within the framework of criminal proceedings No. 1586 of 2025 resulted in the defendant, while driving his vehicle, being carrying a pistol-type firearm and 50 cartridges.

The investigations continued with searches of the premises used by him, where 12 other firearms were seized. These included 10 Model 56 automatic rifles , a "Scorpion" automatic rifle, and a pistol, all of which, according to the technical-ballistic expertise, were in working condition.

Also, during the operation, 465 combat cartridges of various calibers, 14 magazine clips for automatic weapons, rifles and pistols, as well as two devices for reducing the noise of weapons, known as silencers, were seized.

According to the technical-ballistic expertise reports, all seized weapons and ammunition were found to be in good technical condition and capable of firing.

The prosecution says that the investigations have also uncovered evidence that raises suspicions that some of the weapons were being held with the intention of selling them illegally. This part of the case is being investigated in a separate criminal proceeding.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier completed the investigations and sent to trial citizen MR, accused of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided for by Article 278, paragraph 6, of the Criminal Code.

From the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 1586, of 2025, it resulted that the defendant MR, while driving the vehicle, was carrying 1 pistol-type firearm, along with 50 cartridges. Following the investigative actions and checks carried out in the premises used by him, 12 other firearms were also seized, namely 10 model 56 automatics, 1 "Scorpion" type automatic weapon and 1 pistol, all in functional condition according to the technical-ballistic expertise.

Also, 465 live ammunition of various calibers, 14 rifle, shotgun and pistol magazines, as well as 2 devices for reducing the noise of weapons ("silencers") were seized.

Based on the technical-ballistic expertise, all seized weapons and ammunition were found to be in good technical condition and capable of firing. The investigations also revealed data that raise suspicions that some of the weapons were being held with the intention of selling them illegally, facts that are the subject of investigation in a separate criminal proceeding.

The Fier Prosecution Office remains committed to combating any form of crime that violates public order and security, especially criminal offenses related to the illegal possession of weapons, the illegal production and trade of weapons and ammunition.

In close cooperation with the State Police and other law enforcement institutions, the Prosecution will continue to resolutely exercise its constitutional and legal powers to identify, investigate and prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes, with the aim of guaranteeing public order, increasing the security of citizens and strengthening public trust in justice.
