"Desperate movement", Lubonja: The opposition is right, but it is

Analyst Fatos Lubonja has described the opposition's action in the Assembly as a "failed movement", while emphasizing that they have the right to what they are asking for, but they are using their last means.

Lubonja made the comments in a live link with the show "Open" on News24, where, among other things, he said that it is known whether these tools that are being used and this movement will bring results or not.

" There are two issues here, the first is whether or not the opposition is right about the things it is asking for? I think he is very right, even for concessions, the chairman of the parliamentary group is also assigned to him while 48 people are looking for another. At its core, the issue is that there is a clear strategy for capturing all powers, including civil society, and the opposition wants to be appointed by the majority. This is dramatic for the country. Here the opposition is right. What tools does the opposition have to stop this and how are these the last tools they are using? I think that last resort, is the last thing, or desperate attempts to react. After all possibilities have been destroyed. If I were at the head of the majority, I would raise the question whether they are right or not, and if they are right, give them what they deserve. They think they are not right.

I judge that the opposition is now addressing the public and internationals with a desperate effort. Because in Albania there was tyranny of the majorities, even when there was Berisha.

Remove that first Berisha who was very powerful, in the period up to 2017, there were two factors that allowed a democratic game... balance and conflict has calmed down with international interventions.

What has happened recently and has changed the situation is that the strong ones, the government has also compromised the internationals who are no longer referees, but now they tell Rama to 'go ahead', they have declared Berisha non-grata. Now they make desperate moves, but I don't know what the result will be.

This kind of conflict, as it takes place there, is a loss and a failure for everyone ", says Lubonja.
