Some of these clinics, such as 'Medical Hill' directed by Jetlira Beqiraj, "Allure Beauty", under the direction of Aida Troka, "Amra Medical Aesthetics", with administrators Luada Caushaj, and "Onxy Dermo Care", directed by Jonida Zaçe, are advertised by many of the well-known public figures in Albania. These clinics are already at the center of an in-depth investigation into botox smuggling and revenue concealment. The same applies to the clinics "Begas Clinic", directed by Klarida Bekaj, and "The Glam House" of "3MT", administered by Eni Shemaj.
In an unprecedented act that shows the degradation of aesthetic clinics in Tirana, the State Police raided 30 aesthetic centers on October 15, revealing a sophisticated network of botox smuggling and tax evasion. This prohibited and potentially dangerous product has been injected indiscriminately, endangering the lives and health of hundreds of clients who blindly trust these "prestigious" clinics.
The administrators of these clinics are not just businessmen, but figures who operate with the same strategy as criminal organizations. The recent arrests expose a terrible panorama where the law, ethics and professionalism are disregarded. Mildon Kumaraku, the administrator of the subject "Capo - AL shpk", Xhuljana Mahmuti (Luar Clinic), Deisa Shehaj (Deas Aesthetics clinic), and many others, have been accused of serious criminal actions, including smuggling and concealment of income.
These clinics not only operate outside the legal framework, but also undermine public health by using unauthorized and unverified products.
How can Albanian girls and women feel safe, when instead of quality and safety, these clinics offer them smuggled poison? Botox, a product that requires rigorous standards, has turned into a tool to enrich some unscrupulous administrators, who break the law and deceive patients with dubious, often unidentified products.
What is most disgusting in this scandal is that the clinics in question are not simply promoted behind the scenes or with hidden methods. No! They appear on our screens every day, through the country's VIP figures, who become spokespersons for these dubious clinics. The advertising of these centers by well-known faces is making even the few VIP figures we have dirty.
These characters, followed by thousands of Albanians, are offering nothing but support for a smuggled product, putting their own profits ahead of public safety and health.
And we are not getting into the part about who is behind these 'prestigious' clinics and how much money is laundered in the process... Because that belongs to another, equally dark and disturbing topic.
