Security expert Ergys Muzhaqi says that bringing African immigrants to Albania can bring various problems.
Analyzing the agreement signed yesterday between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Giorgia Meloni for immigrants, Muzhaqi said that among these immigrants there will also be contingents of crimes.
He said that they have left their country, paying a lot of money to organized crime, to flee to a more open country and being locked up in a camp in Albania will not be acceptable for them. He further listed a series of problems that may cause their arrival in Albania.
"Our security is compromised. We did not cause the conflict in Africa and we do not have to solve it. Among the people who flee from Africa and receive, there are those who flee for a better life to their cousins in Europe, but among them there are also people who fled for reasons of crimes. For the very nature of people who have escaped from some kind of closure in their own country to open up, and you will close them even more here, they will definitely look for a way out.
They will leave the camp, they will try to bribe state personnel in the first place, they will try to connect with human traffickers for documents. In the third place, they will try to get out of the routine of the camp, they will go outside, in one of the most touristic areas, where there are also areas of strategic importance, such as the port of Shengjin.
Gjadri is a military airport, this is the second strategic point that is attacked. Then we go to tourism and the residents there, who will face a non-tourist contingent that has fled their country and that it is expected that their problems will also reflect on these residents," said security expert Ergys. Muzhaq.
