The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that if Albania enters the European Union, 2000 refugee camps will be opened in our country.
In an interview for the "Frontline" show, Spahiu said that this will come as an effect as we will return to the first entrance gate of refugees to the European Union from the south of Europe.
" The day we will be in the EU, we are preparing for 2,000 migrant camps. We will be one of the first gates for the Mediterranean coast. It is important to specify. They are not taken from Italy. They are taken from the open sea from the Mediterranean Sea and brought to Albania and not elsewhere, they are not allowed, it violates human rights or deportation.
It is a European model, not an Italian one, it is thought of as a preventive measure for a crisis that has gripped all of Europe. There are 500,000 camps throughout the EU. I followed the electoral campaign of the European Parliament and the main topic is immigration. All nationalist parties have the same thesis that governments have failed in the issue of immigration.
According to them, the EU or coexistence can be threatened by human trafficking. We are the most exporting nation of immigration and I am so refractory to those coming. It is a strong debate in the EU than in Albania. Untrue that the fact, they will have the right to asylum here, but if they are released and leave the camp, the whole project and the agreement falls, Italy intends to review the asylum procedures here and give them back, if they do not flee and stay here it has fallen agreement. This is a global project where the whole EU is planning to tell African citizens that you will not end up on our shores but in Rwanda or Albania ," said Spahiu.
