Analyst Ervin Karamuço has stated that there are hundreds of millions of euros in contraband goods entering Albania. He emphasized that if the borders with Serbia are closed, the smuggling of goods will quadruple.
He further underlined that in this situation of tension, weapons have started to be introduced at two border points.
" There are hundreds of millions of euros in contraband goods that enter Albania every year. Kosovo has waged war and continues with continuous efforts to do so, especially after what Kurti said, about the blocking of Serbian goods from entering the Kosovar territory. Contraband will quadruple contraband. In two places, weapons and explosives started to enter" - he said in Euronews Albania.
