The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has publicly confirmed that he has addressed the court with a request to divorce his wife Monika Kryemadhi, with whom he has been married for over two decades and has three children.
But how should this movement of theirs be seen at a time when SPAK is conducting investigations for Meta and Kryemadhi. The well-known analyst, Skender Minxhozi, said that this event is both new and old.
According to him, Ilir Meta has been crossing red lines in public behavior for a long time, while he added that the task he mismanaged the most was when he was running the Presidency.

He added that the investigations into Meta and Kryemadhi by SPAK are at an advanced stage and this is "proven" by Meta's revolt in public. According to Minxhozi, this divorce will not ease their position in front of SPAK.
" Investigations are at an advanced stage. They entered such events, such as birthdays, it seems to be a capillary investigation and this is also reflected by Meta's irritation in public. I don't believe that a divorce between them would ease such a difficult position for him ," he said.
Asked what might have forced Meta to turn to the court for divorce, Minxhozi gives this opinion: " After leaving SPAK, Kryemadhi has been more moderate with SPAK, unlike Meta. This position in relation to the Special Prosecutor's Office may cause anger, and may be one of the sparks that set fire to this marriage ," he added.
