Journalist Andi Tela, commenting on Meta's harsh statements after he left SPAK, said that Mr. Meta's tactic is the best defense is attack.
Tela said in the show "Te Paespozuarit" on MCN TV that there should be an investigation against Meta, because all Albanians have witnessed these years what Ilir Meta has done in Albanian politics.
" It seems like Lord Meta's tactic is the best defense, it's offense. So, he is voting from SPAK on some issues and he does not choose the path that, okay, I face SPAK, let me be investigated if he feels clean, if he feels uncaught during this whole period that he has been in charge of Albanian politics and then bring out all the problems that accompany this whole investigation of his.
But even a month ago, when the Freedom Party convention was held, he spent three good days dealing with Duman. Even a few days ago, when he was called to SPAK, he continued his rhetoric with harsh language towards the head of SPAK, who practically does not investigate any issue.
There are other prosecutors who deal with his cases and Meta's attack is directed at Duman, because if in the first three years of SPAK under the leadership of Mr. Kraja there were really fish box investigations and second-hand cases insensitive to the public, during this period that Duman is in charge of SPAK, there is an investigation against politicians who were untouchable for these thirty years, but from the majority we only have fish boxes.
From the majority, we have its director, we have a fugitive deputy prime minister, with a file read by the public, we have a property investigation that is being conducted against the mayor, so it is not that there are actions against the government or the majority.
But let's not say that Meta is drained of politics and there shouldn't be an investigation against him, because we have all witnessed these years what Ilir Meta has done in Albanian politics," said Tela.
