Albanian medicine is in mourning. The well-known oncologist, Agim Karaj, passed away today (November 25).
Tributes in his honor will be held today.

Oncologist Agim Karaj passed away a day before his birthday. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
After completing his studies at the Faculty of Medicine in 1975, Dr. Karaj began his career as a surgeon at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, where he then specialized as an oncologist.
In 1987, he specialized at the Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris, one of the best institutions in the world for oncology and oncoplasty. His career was enriched by participation in international trainings and conferences, as well as by his referrals to renowned institutions such as the Milan Oncology Institute.
