
The Lezha region has been dominated by heavy rainfall since midnight, causing flooding in homes and businesses.
So far, the situation appears problematic in several administrative units of Kurbin, Mamurra, Fushë Mamurra, Drojë, Zhejë, Shpërdet, Sh'mëri as a result of the large flows from the Drojë River.
Meanwhile, in Milot, about 50 apartments have water present. So far, the municipality of Lezha is cleaning the main roads from debris while the situation is being monitored.

The situation in Lezha Region is currently presented as follows:
The territory of Lezhë District, starting from midnight, has been affected by moderate to high intensity rainfall, accompanied by strong winds, where according to data received from the Gjadër military meteorological station, 46mm of rain fell until 06:00. After this hour, 12mm of rain fell.
- From the MC structures of the Kurbin municipality as a result of the aggravated situation caused by the massive rainfall, which fell from 1 am onwards.
The amount of precipitation that fell until 09:00, 80 mm of rain.
The situation in the Kurbin municipality is presented as follows.
In the administrative units of Mamurras, Fushë Mamurras, Drojë, Zhejë, Shpërdhet, Sh'mëri, there are serious problems as a result of the large flows from the Drojë River, the KULs and the canals in which they are swollen. Currently, there are about 50 apartments with water presence.
There was no need for evacuations.
Heavy vehicles have been deployed to intervene near the KUL and the canals in which there are bulges.
There are difficulties in crossing some road axes (Fushë Mamurras underpass), the former national road in Gjorëm, and Sh'meri.
In the Milot administrative unit, the road axes in the villages of Skuraj, Vinjollë and Gallatë are impassable.
Currently, there are about 50 apartments with water supply.
All structures and service groups are on the ground to help every resident to ensure their lives.
- The MC structures of the Lezha municipality report that municipal forces have cleaned the Lezha-Shkodra national road axis in the part where it connects to the "Mother Teresa" neighborhood from the inert materials that were on the road, and the water has been evacuated from the yards of the two 9-year schools "Kosova" and "Mother Teresa".
Currently, electricity has been restored to feeder no. 9 that supplies the village of Ishullo Lezhë, as well as electricity has been restored to feeder no. 12 that supplies the villages of Gjadër, Torovicë, Kakarric, Mabë, only not in the village of Dajç because OSHEE groups are still working there, feeder no. 7 that supplies the neighborhood "Mother Teresa", the village of Ishullo Shëngjin and Rrëzë Mali has electricity restored. Work is being done to restore electricity to feeder no. 4 that supplies Shënkolli and Tale.
The situation in this municipality currently appears normal. The teaching process continues normally in schools in the territory of the Lezhë municipality.
The highway underpass in the village of Ishull Lezhë has become impassable due to the presence of water.
- The MC structures of the Mirdita municipality report that there is no problem so far.
- The supply of drinking water has continued regularly.
- The hydropower plants are on standby and are working according to the flows.
- The Drin and Mat rivers have increased but within normal parameters.
The District Prefect Mr. Taulant Malshi, the head of the PPMC&K sect, and the representative of AKMC Tonin Prendi are monitoring the situation in the Kurbin municipality.
