Around 80 families in the village of Shpërdhet in Kurbin have been isolated due to the collapse of the road caused by the high flow of the Droja River.
The road segment has collapsed over a length of about 100 meters, blocking the movement of residents.
"This situation is like this every time it rains, these problems occur. There is torrential water. The municipality's teams came and saw it two years ago. Today the entire village is suspended. A village with 80 families is blocked," said a resident.
"Here, the same situation has been going on for 2 years. No one has even taken action since '97. We are blocked as a neighborhood. We are 80 families with about 350 residents. The road has completely collapsed. The mayor came in the morning, I don't know what measures they will take. The state is taking action," said another resident.
