The heavy rains that have swept the country have caused damage to a road in the village of Bilaj in Kruja.
Two of the families describing this route say that this was the only route they used to cross.
"We are about 20 residents who cross this road because we have no other access to our homes. Due to heavy rains, the road has slipped because a hole about 1.5 meters deep has opened in it and it is even wider below. We are a family, we have small children, paralyzed parents and we are afraid to cross because we risk ending up in the river.
"I have sent a video and asked for help to the mayor and MP Milva Konomi, but neither one nor the other has deigned to do so. We demand that the state intervene to prevent a possible tragedy as we have no other choice," says one of the residents of this neighborhood.
