Journalist Genc Burimi stated that the lack of the diaspora's vote in the 2025 parliamentary elections could lead to chaos in these upcoming elections.
Burimi considered the diaspora's lack of votes to be egregious, as according to him, this deficiency will be exploited by political parties that will not recognize the elections.
"The issue of the Diaspora vote is not radically motivating the political parties. Everyone says 'I agree'. We also have a decision of the Constitutional Court that makes the voting of the diaspora mandatory for the upcoming elections of 2025", Burimi told Syri Tv.
Furthermore, Genc Burimi did not spare the accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, while he said that he does not want the vote of the diaspora and can take the elections again with manipulations.
"According to the probability, if nothing happens, Rama will take back the elections with manipulations. This glaring deficiency today, tomorrow will most likely be exploited by the party that has no interest in knowing the elections. In Albania, we don't have many prospective analyses, as we do in the West", said Burimi.
