Lawyer Spartak Ngjela, has commented on the opposition's last protest in front of the municipality of Tirana where there is a call for the resignation of the mayor Erion Veliaj.
Njjela said that despite the political rhetoric used in the violent protests, the opposition has not given any idea about the economic development of the country and therefore cannot be seen as an alternative. He added that the opposition does not have the political ability to do the actual analysis of the Albanian society.
"The problem remains, can you tell me any ideas that have been thrown in the protest for the development of Albania? Do you know any high judgment that will make us move forward as an economic and political development of the Albanian nation? I haven't heard anything. We must always talk about the usefulness of a political movement.
We are in moments of loss. The opposition is defeated in battle. There is no political ability to make the current analysis of the Albanian society. I don't need what the idiots say there "you are murderers, thieves" etc. I need to know how they have the optics for the future in politics as a political party that strives for power", said Ngjela for "Top Channel".
While commenting on the arrests of officials and former officials by SPAK, Ngjela said that the blows were more towards the ranks of the majority and emphasized that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is under house arrest because he ignored the decisions of justice to appear in GJKKO.
"Sali Berisha was arrested because he did not respect justice, he was not arrested for the criminal offense. There is an article in the procedure that states that if you do not submit to the investigation, you can be arrested," added the lawyer.
