
Rain is expected in most of the territory, while snow returns in mountainous areas.
Albania will be affected this Saturday (March 28), by unstable weather conditions, according to the forecast of the Military Meteorological Service. The weather is expected to be medium to dense cloudiness, accompanied by occasional clearings.
Rainfall will be present from the first hours of the day, initially along the coastline, with mainly low intensity. During the daytime, precipitation will extend to most of the territory, while short-term storms are also expected in the western area. In the evening, precipitation will gradually recede, remaining mainly in the southwest and with low intensity.
In mountainous areas, especially in the Alps and in the northeast above 700–900 meters of altitude, as well as in the east-southeast above 900–1000 meters, low to medium intensity snowfall is expected.
The wind will blow from the northeast to northwest, with an average speed of about 7 m/s. In certain areas, such as the valley and the coast, the wind can reach up to 15 m/s.
As for the sea, waves in the Adriatic and Ionian are expected to be force 2 to 4.
Temperatures will fluctuate significantly from mountainous areas to the coast, with minimum values dropping to -1°C in some northeastern cities and maximums reaching up to 14°C in the western lowlands.
