A well-known name in Albanian organized crime, Durim Bami, has been extradited from Dubai to Albania, bringing attention back to the activities of the Fushë-Krujë gangs and their criminal networks.
According to journalist Ferdinand Dervishi, Durim Bami, who was recently extradited from Dubai, was a key figure in Albanian crime history, having been involved from a young age in TNT attacks on high-voltage poles, as part of a dynamic that, according to him, was linked to the political influences of the time. He later became part of gang groups that used hired killers and various intimidations.
The journalist emphasizes that the psychology of a person like Bami makes it difficult to cooperate with justice, however, if he were to decide to become a pentito, according to Dervishi, hot files would be revealed that include a series of important murders and assassinations,
