A fierce debate took place in the A2 CNN studio between analyst Ilir Demaliaj and lawyer Kujtim Cakrani while discussing the arrest of former president Ilir Meta and whether the police action was proportionate to this case.
While the lawyer Cakrani was analyzing that the violent association of Ilir Meta could be avoided due to the high positions he held at the head of the state, the analyst was not of the same opinion and accused Cakrani of not being able to speak about this matter since was a party and in this way credibility is lost.
This was not well received by Cakran, who immediately turned to Demalia to show respect when addressing him. The debate then turned into an exchange of personal insults, which forced journalist Bruna Çifligu to interrupt the show.
