The police of Tirana finalized today the coded police operation "Botulinum toxin", with the objective of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of smuggling and illegal trading of the medical product known as "Botox" from aesthetic clinics.
In the framework of this operation, controls were carried out in 30 aesthetic clinics in Tirana, where it was found that their administrators did not declare to the tax authorities the income that benefited from the injection of "Botox" to patients, as the product is suspected to be illegal and smuggled.
Thus, the names of the clinics which are suspected of using contraband goods in their businesses have also been revealed. Also the people who have been arrested.
Meanwhile, the administrator of the "Keit" clinic, Skerdilajd Faria, has been announced. The well-known doctor is wanted, along with two other administrators who injected the botox smuggled into Albania by Mildon Kumaraku.

2. Jetlira Beqiraj, administrator of the "Medical Hills" clinic. Accused of the criminal offenses "Smuggling of licensed goods" carried out in cooperation and "concealment of income" provided by articles 173/2 and 180 of the Criminal Code.
3. Jonida Zace, administrator of the clinic "Onxy Dermo Care" Accused of the criminal offenses "Smuggling of licensed goods" carried out in collaboration and "concealment of income" provided by articles 173/2 and 180 of the Criminal Code.
