Lawyer Ylli Manjani commented on the Now show on Erion Veliaj's situation after his dismissal as mayor of Tirana, describing it as a critical moment in his political life.
According to Manjani, Veliaj is facing an important political choice and presents two alternatives that Veliaj can pursue.
" Veliaj has the most important political decision to make, whether he chooses to complain while helping his opponent, regardless of what the DP says."
"The DP is not ready for elections. The DP needs time to choose the right candidate. They do not have an official candidate. The second largest party has no alternative, it needs time. It can give this time to Erion Veliaj through negotiation or unintentionally ," said Manjani.
On the other hand, according to Manjani, another scenario would be for him not to become an obstacle for the Socialist Party and to support the candidacy of Ogerta Manastirliu.
" Or the other alternative, for Veliaj to claim that he is not an obstacle in the SP party and can support Ogerta Manastirliu.
"Veliaj is in his deepest isolation. He has a hard time making a decision. He has to be super smart to triumph. He is in a situation, in those conditions with today and the future, he will have to choose between his narrow interest, namely the trial or the unraveling of the charges, or choose to ignore himself and be correct where he has served ," said Ylli Manjani.
