Even European farmers abuse the use of "poison pumps" in agriculture.
Within a week, the National Food Authority has blocked three shipments of grapes and peaches from Greece and Italy after they were found to have high pesticide content.
In the official announcement of the AKU, an institution still dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture, we only have the blocking action, but we as citizens do not learn either the amount of destruction or the amount of import.
Hiding the truth didn't help at all, as this doesn't change reality, despite this, Top Channel has learned that 8 tons of grapes with chemicals were imported into Albania and the AKU inspection team destroyed only 747 kg, 10 tons of dangerous peaches were imported into our country's customs, and only 28 kg were destroyed and blocked by food inspectors.
Where is the rest of the peaches and grapes grown with poison, is it still on the market, or has it already reached the tables of Albanians and been consumed? The answer to this question must be given by the Ministry of Agriculture itself. /TCH
