The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana "trapped" the well-known businessman Kristian Boçi, his wife Drilona Boçi and 5 other people related to them. Together they allegedly generated money, profiting from the proceeds of drug trafficking.
According to the announcement of the prosecutor's office of Tirana, Kristian Boçi is convicted for drugs in Belgium and created a trading company where he laundered money. The investigation shows that Kristian Boçi has made fictitious purchases with unreal values, while he has received large unjustified loans.
"From the conducted investigation, evidence was provided that EA citizens in cooperation with KB citizens, EB, etc., have committed the criminal offense of "Cleaning the products of a criminal offense or criminal activity" committed in cooperation, and they are suspected of being involved in this scheme and their wives," announced the Prosecutor's Office.
But who are Kristian and Drilona Boçi?

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has seized about 50 million euros of property. The list of seized assets includes: 14 commercial companies, shops, apartments and luxury villas.
The seized properties are owned by 7 people, who in cooperation with Alman Abule, convicted in Belgium for drug trafficking and criminal group, have laundered money by making fictitious purchases with unreal values.

The investigation shows that Kristian Boçi has made fictitious purchases with unreal values, while he has received large unjustified loans.
Among other things, it is stated in the notice that Kristian Boçi has committed the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" carried out in collaboration, provided for by Article 287, second paragraph of the Criminal Code, and it is suspected that this scheme is also included his wife, Drilona Boçi.
Kristian Boçi is a very well-known name in the country. As he is considered a great businessman, but also known for his luxurious life and relations with VIP characters.
